Tasting note: The alluvial soils on the terraces of the River Duero, their easy drainage combined with a loose texture with a slight calcareous content, configure the identity of this wine, whose sensorial profile is defined by a deep garnet colour and an aromatic sequence notable for the complexity of the range of tertiary aromas, resulting from mixed ageing in casks made of different types of oak. These contribute cocoa, liquorice and tobacco leaf aromas against a background of blackberries. In the mouth, well-assembled, spicy tannins augur a long period in the bottle. The wine was stabilised without cooling so some sediment may appear. (Contains sulphites).
